2011 Toyota Avalon 4-DR LTD Sedan

avalonToyota has stepped up to the plate with their launch of the 2011 Avalon. Their “art-deco” inspired branding campaign has set the stage for the luxurious driving experience of the all-new designed Avalon. The slick and modern elements of the Avalon plant this vehicle firmly alongside its luxurious cousin; Lexus.

The outward appeal of the Avalon is refined and alluring. The smooth lines that shape the frame of the Avalon give a sense of sophistication without being stuffy. This model has a newly-designed front and rear end that bring out the profile of the Avalon. The 17” Alloy wheels and Chrome accents further add to the style of the Avalon.

Of special note, Puddle Lights are a subtle touch of class for Avalon. Upon approach the lights illuminate the ground to the side of the car for added security and serve as a “heads-up” for anything in your path. To some it may be a purely cosmetic feature, but it came in handy as I avoided a potentially disastrous misstep on an uneven walk way. It’s the little touches that go a long way.

The Avalon is not only eye appealing, it also holds its own on the open road. A 3.5L 268HP, 6 Speed Transmission allows this sedan to get it cruise on. Driving on the 101 was where the Avalon really showed its driving personality. The Avalon has a smooth and comfortable ride and offers a quiet cabin for the ultimate driving experience. Surprisingly, the Avalon was quite agile for a full-sized sedan. In the city, maneuvering in and out of tight parking spots and situations was a breeze.
